Mrs. Frank Wisdom Dies At Home Here

Mrs. Eldora King, daughter of Louisa Jane Moore and Thomas A. King, was born Dec. 10, 1860 near Sedalia, Missouri.

Because of the Civil War, her parents took her, when very young, to Mormontown, Iowa, which is now Blockton, and there she grew to young womanhood.

On November 21, 1878 she was married to Frank M. [inor] Wisdom. To them were born seven children, who all grew to maturity. Two sons, Durward and Dale, preceded their parents in death. Mr. Wisdom died August 27, 1940.

The remaining children are Paul W. [esley] and Donald Fay of Los Angeles, Mrs. Pearl Price of Barnard, Missouri, Mrs. Della Clark and Mrs. Floy Maxwell of Bedford. There are also sixteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

At an early age she united with the Methodist church and served as a devout member for the remainder of her life. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She died Thursday, November 8, at her home in Bedford where she had resided for the past 40 years.

She had been in failing health for two years but was seriously ill only a few days.

Her parents, brothers and sisters have been gone for many years.

Funeral services were held at the Wetmore Funeral Home Monday forenoon, November 12. Rev. H. L. Hufstader in charge. Burial was in the Fairview cemetery.
