Beverly was born on June 23, 1937 in Joliet, a daughter of Denver and Dorothy (Hare) Huron. She married Donald May on Nov. 7, 1975 in Gibson City; he survives.
Also surviving are her three daughters, Lynda (Rod) Hunter, Kathy Evans and Terry Evans; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Thomsen and three brothers, Robert Huron, Roy Huron and Hank Huron.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Ted Evans.
Mrs. May attended schools in the Joliet area and she graduated from Lakeland Community College.
She was a dietician for many years and also was a tax preparer for H&R Block.
Prior to her illness, she enjoyed spending time with her husband traveling in the motorhome and wintering in the Southern states.
She loved being with her grandchildren, playing computer games, reading, crafting and cooking.
