Larry W. Graves, age 58, of Knoxville, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday March 12, 2017, at Parkwest Medical Center. He was of the Baptist faith. Larry was one of three sons born to Clarence and Opal Graves. He was a 1976 graduate of Halls High School. He served in the United States Navy from 1978-1982 aboard the U.S.S. Lexington aircraft carrier in Pensacola, Florida. Larry was a huge Tennessee Vol fan. He will be greatly missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence L. Graves. He is survived by his mother, Opal Graves; brothers, Danny and Gregg Graves; nephew, Evan Graves; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel, Brother Charlie Reynolds officiating, and special singing by Brian Bowling. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery in Maynardville, TN. Pallbearers: Danny Graves, Gregg Graves, Evan Graves, Craig Hubbs, Tommy Forster, and Bob Corn. In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me account has been set up by the family in Larry's name for help cover funeral costs. Family will receive friends 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City Chapel. Please leave online condolences at www.mynattfh.com.
