Mr. Ira "Buddy" Turner, 81, of Fitzgerald, died March 6, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Turner was born in Millen, Ga. to James Earl and Maybelle Hendley Turner. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Donna Rae Turner, a sister, Reba Johnson and a brother William Daniel "W.D." Turner.

Survivors include one brother and one sister.
Memorial services were held at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Emanuel County, Ga.

Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors of Swainsboro were in charge of arrangements.
