Bettye Jean Selby Wilson age 84 of Sparta, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully in her home in Ocala, FL on March 14, 2017. She was born March 21, 1932 in Sparta, Tenn.

Mrs. Bettye was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, James Wilson, Father & step-mother: Odie Lee Selby & Ruth Brown, her Mother: Alta Pearl Judd Selby, sister: Hazel Canary, and brothers: Franklin Delano Selby and Arnold Borland.

She is survived by sister: Jannetta Bandy
brothers: Donald Selby, Robert Selby, and Odie Selby
daughter: Tamara Wilson
sons: Dennis Whitson and Alan Wilson
grandchildren: Kristin Wilson, Serena Wilson, Dennis McDonald, and Melissa Martin.

Visitation with the family will be from 11 am till 12:30 pm on Saturday at HUNTER FUNERAL HOME with Graveside services at 1:00 pm at the Plainview Cemetery in Cassville.
