A 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at Ray Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jack Talton officiating. Interment will follow at Kallam Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
A Guilford County native, Mark was born October 18, 1969 the son of Melvin Chandler and Lynda Sharpe Reid. He was a 1988 graduate of Northwest Guilford High School. Mark was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church in Reidsville and attended faithfully as long as his health permitted. He was employed for 10 years by Kaba Ilco.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mark is survived by his loving wife, Donna T. Reid of the home; daughter, Lauren Reid of the home; sister, Angela Bowman and husband Jackie of Westfield; nephew Dustin Bowman of Westfield; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark was a loving son, brother, husband and devoted father. He was very unselfish, always putting others needs above his own. Mark liked people and never met a stranger.
