Cecila Rose Schultz, 89, of Carlyle Nursing Home for the past four years and formerly of 1416 Hayes Ave., South Beloit, died on Saturday in Beloit Memorial Hospital.
A South Beloit resident most of her life, she was born on Nov. 16, 1891, in DeKalb, Ill., the daughter of John and Cecilia Knott Millay. She married Herman Schultz on June 16, 1923 in Rockford. He died in 1971.
Survivors include one stepson, Eugene Schultz of Beloit, one nephew, Nelson Morton of Burlington; and serveral grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by an adopted son, John and one brother and one sister.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Rosman Uehling Kinzer Blackhawk Chapel with Capt. David Biggs of the Salvation Army officiating. Private graveside services will be held in North Sharon Cemetery. Friends may call from noon until time of services on Tuesday in the Blackhawk chapel.
