He was a 1969 graduate of Bell Street High in Clinton, SC.
Upon graduation he joined the United States Navy where he served for a number of years. He was also a fire fighter for Cross Hill until his health failed.
At an early age he joined the Vaughnville Baptist Church in Chappells, SC.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Charles and Timothy Cook, and one niece Katrine Bartee.
He leaves us to cherish his precious memories, two sons, Allen (Kim) Cook, and Anthony (Alicia) Goggins. One sister Brenda (Charles) Bartee, two sister-in-laws, Jackie Cook and Angela Cook. Two special friends Iva Williams and Vanesa Williams and special cousins Betty Joe Grant of Laurens, SC and Shirley Jones of Mountville, SC. Seven grandchildren, seven sisters' in law and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Also two special friends Bobby Robinson and Willie (Peter Roger) Boyd.
