Freda Mae Carter, 95, of Waldron, Arkansas passed away March 14, 2017 in Waldron. She was born December 12, 1921 in Hon, Arkansas to the late Frank and Lydie (Beyard) Yandell.
Freda is survived by three children, six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and by several nieces, nephews, friends and other family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Clell Carter, daughter Lola Ford and five siblings; Irene McConnell, Opal Yandell, M.C. Yandell, Jody Yandell and Kenneth Yandell.
Visitation will be Friday March 17, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 18, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church in Waldron with burial to follow at Friendship cemetery under the direction of Martin Funeral Home.
