Mr. Boyers retired from CertainTeed Roofing Corp., where he worked for 27 years.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
Born in Harrisonburg, Va., Nov. 27, 1931, he was a son of the late Otho D. and Ollie V. Lawson Boyers.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Beverly A. Olvitt Boyers; a daughter, Debbie A. Weber of Weston, Fla.; three sons, Gordon M. Smith and Kerry L. Boyers, both of Dover, and Scott A. Boyers of York; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mildred Davis of Lacey Springs, Va., Maxine Thomas and Agnes Smith of Harrisonburg, Va., and Janet Blosser of Craley; and a brother, Warren Boyers of Bridgewater, Va.
Viewing is 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel&Crematory Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road. The service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. N. Patrick Teaford officiating.
Burial is in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
