Doris Jeanete Parker Of Apache, OK Was born March 2, 1936 in Midland, TX to Joseph Willie and Ava Jeanetta (Holt) Arnold. She passed away May 18, 2018 in Lawton, OK at the age of 82.
Doris graduated from high school and married Henry Leon Parker in Amarillo, TX on September 1, 1956. He preceded her in death. She went to work for the First National Bank of Apache as a bank teller until she retired and began helping her husband with his upholstery business. Doris was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Apache and could often be found helping out in the nursery or preparing for one of the many dinners in the church. She was an avid basketball fan and loved cheering on the Thunder. Doris’s greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She could often be found watching their games or attending school activities.
She is survived by: 1 son and his wife-Darrel and Tammy Parker Apache 3 grandchildren- Brandi Hunt, Eric Parker and his girlfriend, Kasey Jackson; Cody and wife, Jillian Allison 5 great-grandchildren- Gabriel Hunt, Jaxten Parker, Teagan Hall, Levi Allison, Karli Allison 3 brothers and their wives- Bob and Barbara Arnold Arlington, TX Rick and Janet Arnold Farmers Branch, TX Hoyt and Jackie Arnold Carrollton, TX 1 sister- Marie Parrish Wolf City, TX

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 23rd at 2:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Kerry Glasgow officiating. Burial will follow in the Cache Creek Indian Cemetery west of Apache, under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
Viewing for Mrs. Parker will be Monday from 1:00-7:00 PM, all day Tuesday, and Wednesday morning before the service.


Obit says she was born in 1936 but the headstone says 1937.
