Phyllis Ann (Dunn) Franklin, of Bowling Green, passed away March 12th, 2017. She was born in Bowling Green, OH to Frank and Troas Dunn on July 5, 1938. Phyllis is a 1956 graduate of BGHS and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She started her career with the Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities in 1956 along side her mother as teacher assistant before having her own classroom. Between 1977 and her retirement in 2007 she held a variety of positions. These included classroom assistant, residential staff member and ended her career as a production specialist.
During her retirement years she enjoyed spending time with her many friends, including her outings with her girls club. Most importantly she treasured the time shared with her daughters and grandchildren. Along with very special friends Rodna Bordner, Peg Brown and Barb Metz. She also made many special friends in the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Dept at Wood Co hospital. She had a love of sports, specifically the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Phyllis is survived by brothers, Marvin W of BG and Richard G of Van Wert. Daughters Mary Franklin, BG, Kelly (Thomas Jr) Patton of Rudolph and Amy Conrad of Lakewood; grandchildren Jovon, Lucinda, Christopher, Dakota, Audrey, Erin, Lizzy, Eireann, Adam, Bryce, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Megan, Faith and Keira and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents Frank P and Troas C Dunn. Brothers Donald E and Robert B. Dunn and daughter Tracy A Garcia.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home located in Bowling Green's Historical District at 408 W. Wooster St.
Pastor Scott Estep will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be sent to either Wood County Board of Developmental Disabilities or Wood County Hospital Pulmonary Rehabilitation Department.
