Mrs. Ann V. Trayer, widow of Jacob V. Trayer, and daughter of the late Tilghman Bennett, died at her home near Taylorsville, on Thursday, April 19th, 1917, in the 85th year of her age. She was one of the older residents of that community and was held in high esteem by a large circle of relatives and friends. She leaves two daughters, Miss Lillian, at home, and Mrs. George Beaseman, of Howard county; three sons, James T., of Westminster; J. Banks, near Taylorsville; and Harry R., of Mt Airy; besides a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon, leaving the house at 12 o'clock. Services at New Market M. E. Church, Frederick county, at 2 o'clock.
Interment in adjoining cemetery.
