Gary Lynn (PaPa) Morton, 71 of El Dorado, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 in a Little Rock hospital.
He was a retired plumber and a member of College Avenue Church of Christ in El Dorado and a former member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Van Buren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Howard L. Morton and Norene (Bailey) Morton.
Graveside services will be 3PM, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Oliver Springs Cemetery north of Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. There will also be a family memorial service 2PM, Thursday, March 16, 2017 at College Avenue Church of Christ in El Dorado, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife Shirley A. Morton of the home; one daughter Teresa Brown and her husband Rick of El Dorado; one son Monty Morton and his wife Dana of Rogers; two brothers Ronnie Morton and Ardy Morton and his wife Kathy both of Mountainburg; a special sister Janice Belcher of Van Buren; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; lots of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Morton, Austin Brown, Zac Carter, Ryan Morton, Devin Morton, Jacob Morton, Kevin Lamb, and Clint Hogue.
