His first marriage was to Beatrice (Bea) Pearson. Together they had one daughter Patricia Marshall (Patty). After Patricia passed away when she was a child, Beatrice and Leslie divorced.
Later Leslie married Mrytle (Polly) Marshall. They lived in Hood River. They had no children together.
Leslie passed away from a heart attack on March 15th 1992, and is buried along with his wife in the Stevenson Cemetery in Stevenson Washington.
