Mrs. Mary Lee Delashmit, 89, the widow of Mr. Buford Delashmit, passed away on the morning of March 12, 2017. Mrs. Delashmit was a member of the Holly Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Delashmit is survived by her daughter, Melba (Ricky) Howard of Brighton; her three grandchildren, Jason Cody (Melissa) Howard, Justin Ryan Howard, and Jenna Lee Howard (Brandon) Shelton; her great-grandchildren, Brianna Jade Howard, Jason Cody Howard, Jr., Adin Grace Shelton, and Samuel Austin Shelton; her brothers, Charles "Holey" Goforth of Brighton, Leon Goforth of Covington, Alvin "Bud" Goforth of Brighton, and William "Billy" Goforth of Covington. Mrs. Delashmit was preceded in death by her son, Mark Randal "Randy" Delashmit; her sister, Frances Kinney; and her brothers, Waldon, Kenneth, and Warner Goforth.
The services for Mrs. Delashmit will be held on Thursday, March 16th, at 4PM at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Visitation will take place from 2-4 prior to the services. Interment will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery with Debbie Marshall officiating the services.
