Services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 9, at Melton-Riddle Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Clifford Parker and Eddie Stillwell officiating. Burial was in Old Savannah Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Larry Bradley, Lewis "Butch" Bradley, Tim Bradley, Roger Hall, Brent Hall and Gary Bishop.
He was a native of Jackson County, where he lived most of his life. He was a self-employed timber man, and owned and operated heavy equipment. He enjoyed being outdoors, bear hunting and fishing. He was a member of Old Savannah Baptist Church. He was a son of the late Felix and Lula Ashe Hall.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, George B. "G.B." Hall and Richard Ashe; and one sister, Mary Bishop.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Janette Bradley Hall; three sisters, Inez Hurst of Franklin, and Irene Bishop and Vera Cope, both of Sylva; and one brother, Mont Hall of Lyman, Wash.
