Emma L. Menz, 82, of Jeannette, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002, in Monsour Medical Center, Jeannette. She was born Feb. 15, 1920, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Otto and Stella Eckenrod Brock. She attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Jeannette, and was a member of the Jeannette Senior Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Menz Sr., and a brother, Arthur Brock.
She is survived by two sons, and one daughter; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sarah Brooks of Greensburg and Helen Harold of Jeannette; and a number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Theodore Erikson officiating.
