Ms. Connie Elizabeth Slaughter Morrison, age 54, of Belton, South Carolina and formerly of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017.
Connie was born on January 5, 1963 in Rome, Georgia the daughter of Billy Slaughter and Sue Lovelace. She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Cedartown.
She was preceded in death by her birth parents, Billy Slaughter & Sue Lovelace and her adoptive father and mother, who raised her as their own, Amos Slaughter & Velma Slaughter; and her son in law, Tony Gannon.
Connie Slaughter Morrison is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Hackney and Wynter Gannon; her brothers, Mike Slaughter and Jackie Slaughter; her sisters, Lori Slaughter, Pat Robinson and Shirley Wheeler; five grandchildren, Madison Hackney, Faith Hackney, Ethan Gannon, Kaeden Gannon and Taylon Gannon. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The Memorial Service for Ms. Connie Slaughter Morrison will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon, March 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Jamie Newsome officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service in the church sanctuary.
The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Ms. Connie Elizabeth Slaughter Morrison.
