Mr. Harold Britt, “Sweetie” of Shannon was born in Robeson County, Saturday, October 15, 1938 to the late Kelly Britt and Cella Grimsley Britt and was born into eternity Sunday, March 12, 2017 at his home, completing his journey of 78 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Amelia Ann Britt; one son: Billy Harold Britt and one brother Eddie Britt. Mr. Britt enjoyed watching Nascar Racing and Wrestling. One of the greatest enjoyments in his life was having a good time on his day off.
He is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth Britt and Sharon Britt both of Shannon; one son: David Britt of Shannon; two sisters: Ellaree Jackson of St. Paul’s and Peggy Walters of Shannon; five brothers: Leslie Britt of Fitzgerald GA, Buddy Britt of Lumberton, Jay Britt and Wayne Britt both of Shannon and Bert Britt of Harrisburg OH; two granddaughters: Latoria Britt and Casey Britt; one grandson: Devin Britt and well as the love of his life his great granddaughter: Makayla Britt.
