Derrick E. Brown of Claypool, Indiana passed away unexpectedly at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 in Silver Lake, Indiana at the age of 38.
He was born on March 16, 1978 in Warsaw, Indiana to Buck Brown and Alice J. Owens.
Derrick was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana where he was a 1996 graduate of Warsaw Community High School. He was a 1998 graduate of Vincennes University in Vincennes, Indiana where he enjoyed being a member of Delta Gamma Iota Fraternity. Derrick worked as a CNC machinist at Zimmer Biomet in Warsaw for the past 19 years. He was dearly loved and will forever be missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother: Alice J. Owens (Claypool, Indiana); father & step-mother: Buck & Joyce Brown (Ocala, Florida); two daughters: Audra Janell Brown (Shreveport, Louisiana); Alyson Jade Brown (Claypool, Indiana); brother: Brian (wife Kay) Brown (Mentone, Indiana); step-brother: Robert Daisy (Ocala, Florida); sister: Heather (husband Shawn) Ousley (Warsaw, Indiana); and his step-sister: Angel (husband Jon) Stutsman (Tucson, Arizona). He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
