Earl Jennings Price, 69, of Caretta, WV, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the home of his sister, Mary in War, WV. Earl was born July 1, 1947, in War, WV, a son of Bernice Dunford Price and the late James Price. He was a coal miner who loved his job. Earl was an amazing brother and loved all his family and friends. In addition to his father Earl was preceded in death by his wife Delores Price; a son William Price; two brothers, Jim Price and Ralph Price; two sisters, Diane Craven and Priscilla (Kat) Rutherford. Survivors include his mother, Bernice Price; daughter, Eva Grace; sisters, Rita Hankins, Mary Boyd Payne, Ruby Adams, Barbara Holt, Elsie Price, Jenny Munsey, Susan Green, Ethel Jones, Melissa Duncan, Charlotte Dowell; and brothers, Chester, Randy, Roger, Bill and Bryan Price. Funeral services will be conducted, Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 2 o'clock with Reverend Wilmer Muncy officiating at the Independent Church of the Living God at Shop Hollow near War, WV. Burial will follow in Tom Sparks Cemetery on Bradshaw Mountain near Paynesville, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends. Friends may visit with the family Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 2 p.m. at the Independent Church of the Living Goad at Shop Hollow near War, WV.
