Cathy Sue Morris passed away Thursday morning, March 9, 2017 in Tulsa at age 55. She was born April 27, 1961 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Dean and Ann Coco Romine.

The family moved to Rogers County when Cathy was very young. She was somewhat of a tomboy growing up with her best friend Cheryl. She loved riding horses during those years. Always adventurous and fun loving, Cathy was very close with her family. Family remained her top priority throughout her lifetime. She graduated from Oologah High School with the Class of 1979.

Cathy met her husband Tom in 1981 following high school while “cruising the drag” on Main Street in Claremore. The couple married on August 31, 1985. Cathy was always a big supporter of her family and her children. She never missed a baseball or basketball game and she only missed very few practices. Tom and Cathy enjoyed driving their Corvettes several years before the kids were born, and again once the kids left home. She would always get in trouble with Tom for hauling the dogs in the car. Cathy worked for many years at Federal Fidelity and Banc First in Claremore where she was proud to be part of a close work family. The grandchildren were very dear to Cathy. She loved spending time with them at Grand Lake and by the poolside at home. Cathy also was known to spend countless hours shopping.

Surviving family members include her husband Tom Morris; her children: Jeff Morris and wife Vanessa; and their children: Makayla, Taylor, Melony, and Mallory; Melissa Harold and husband Travis; and their son Deacon; Jennifer Stimson and husband P.J.; and their child on-the-way Tripp; and her brother Robert Romine and wife Tonya; and their daughters: Tina and Auburn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:30 PM Tuesday accompanied by a rosary service 7:00 PM Monday both at St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rice Funeral Service.
