Deborah Dean Ferguson, 58, of Bassett, VA passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Franklin Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 30, 1958 in Martinsville, VA to Virginia Hedrick Bowles and the late James Russel Ferguson. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Wayne Rivers; and sister, Linda Ann Bowles.
Deborah was of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her sons, Jonathan Lee Rivers and Daniel Ray Hedrick; sister, Karen Mae Nixon (Marie); brother, Melvin Giles Bowles (Tammy); grandchildren, Brooke Rivers, Chloe Hedrick, Paydence Hedrick, Carlyanne Alverson, November Sinsel, Memphis Rivers, and Kierra Nichols.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel and other times at the home of her mother Virginia Bowles, 60 Box Elder Lane, Martinsville, VA 24112.
