Richard C. Humphrey, 72, of Huntsville, Texas passed away suddenly on March 11, 2017.

He leaves behind his wife Barbara of 40 years, a daughter Susan Wheaton (Paul), a son Sam Humphrey, and a daughter Jennifer Collier (Keith). He is also survived by a brother Stewart Humphrey (Linda) two sisters Mary Ethel Tyson (Dan) and Sandra Turner (Wayne), five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and numerous nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his father Richard Lee, mother Margaret, and grandson Blaine.

Richard was a very successful entrepreneur with an avid love for golfing and boating. He started many successful businesses in his lifetime including Gray Mechanical of Houston TX and Arc Electric of Chesapeake, VA and held the position of COO of IES in Houston TX.

Visitation with the family will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 16 with funeral services beginning at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home in Huntsville, Texas. Graveside services immediately following the service at Mayes Addition of Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville, Texas.
