Hues was the oldest of five children born to Alfred W. and Martha Elizabeth 'Bette" (King) Fogleman. He married Eliza Iola Marshall.

HUGHES D. FOGLEMAN

MOUNT AIRY, Dec. 7 - Hughes Dennis Fogleman, 60, of this city, died today at the Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. He was born in Stokes County. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. D. S. McCarty, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Walter Lee Lanier, pastor of Central Methodist Church, and the Rev. Mark Boesser, rector of the Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Marshall family cemetery near Laurel Fork, Va. The body will remain at the funeral home until the hour of the service. Surviving are his wife, the former Eliza Marshall; one brother, Bryan Fogleman of Columbia, S. C.; three sisters, Mrs. Wade C. Moody and Mrs William T. Allred both of Mount Airy, and Mrs. Ralph Carter of Charleston, W. V. Folgeman for more than a quarter of a century has been connected with the Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. He was assistant secretary and treasurer of the Harrison Burial Association at the time of his death.
