George Westbrook, 61, of 416 W. State Street, was found dead on the banks of Six Mile Creek, near Meadow Street. Coronary thrombosis was given as the cause of death by the coroner.
Born February 8, 1905 in Ithaca, he was employed by Albert Weitzel, a painting contractor.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Westbrook of Syracuse and Joseph Westbrook, California; two daughters, Mrs. Nevia Johnson of Rochester and Miss Bertha Westbrook of California; two brothers, Harry of Elmira and Earl Westbrook of Newfield; a sister, Mrs. Robert Cooper, with whom he lived.
Funeral services will be in the Shea Funeral Home. Capt. Wm. Bessant of the Salvation Army will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
