Born February 15, 1951 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Leanna Stingfellow Workman.
Judy was a 1969 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
On December 22, 1987, she married Merrill Bixler who survives.
Judy spent most of her life as a homemaker, enjoying cooking and keeping a spectacularly clean house.
She was a member of the Lock Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church.
When Judy was around, people were always laughing.
Judy cherished the time she spent with her family, and they meant everything to her.
In addition to her husband, Merrill who survives in Mill Hall, she is survived by two children, Jack (Jamyn) Lamey of Lock Haven and Shawna (Nick) Karichner of Woolrich; four siblings: Wanda (Eric) Sagmuller of Zion, Linda Kramer of Mill Hall, Jack (Kim) Workman of Mill Hall, and Randy (Lori) Workman of Lamar; three grandchildren: Charles Karichner, Skyler Karichner, and Jackson Lamey; many cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Lock Haven Seventh Day Adventist Church, 612 Frederick St., Flemington with Rev. Anthony Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery, Mill Hall.
