Mrs. Joy Wells Price, age 75, of the Kentontown community of Robertson County, Kentucky, died Friday, February 9, 2007, at her home. Born November 5, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Simon Wesley (Red) and Ruby Burns Wells of Robertson County. She worked in the family business, Price Water Hauling, for many years. She was a Robertson County election officer for 25 years, a Republican election commissioner for 25 years, a member of the Kentontown Christian Church and a Kentucky Colonel.

Mrs. Price is survived by: her husband of 57 years, Don Price; two daughters, Susie (Steve) Grayson and Darlene (Phillip) Messer, and two sons, Terry (Patti) Price and Ricky Price, all of Robertson County; eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Haley) Messer, Robin (Eric) Dillow, Susan Grayson, Mathew Grayson, Kaylen Price, Brandon Price, Chad Price and Alylissa Price; one great-grandchild, Westin Messer; one special niece and nephew, Steve and Debbie Price, of northern Kentucky; a special friend, Lisa Boone, of Mount Olivet; and two aunts, Millard Burns and Glendora Wells, of Roberston County. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Wells and twin sister JoAnn Lou Wells.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Kentontown Christian Church. Burial will be in the Kentontown Cemetery, with Bro. Josh Conley and Bro. Dee Whitaker officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Messer, Mathew Grayson, Brandon Price, Chad Price, Eric Dillow, Kyle Price, Luke Price and Richard Price.
