The Jacksonville IL native retired in 1986 from Norfolk & Western Railway after 39 years and was the widower of Ann who died in 1990.
Surviving are daughters Michele L Kennerk of Fort Wayne and Kathleen A Davis of Athol ID; son James L of Fort Wayne; and eight grandchildren.
Services were 10 am today in DO McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home 1140 Lake Ave with burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
