GREER - Minnie Campbell Sudduth Wood, 83, of Rt. 3, Greer, widow of William J. Wood, died Friday.
Born in Greenville County, she was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Velma Peace, Helen Babb and Nora Mills of Greer, Clara Sue Gaston of Spartanburg, Ruby Forrester of Lincolnton, N.C., and Mildred Tate of Travelers Rest; sons, Thurman and T.Q. Sudduth of Greer, Carroll and Marshall Wood of Greer; step-daughters, Annie Campbell and Eula Rogers of Greer; stepsons, George Wood of Greer and Jim Wood of Taylors; a sister, Auggie Burrell of Chester; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with burial in the Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 7 - 9 p.m. Sunday at Wood Mortuary and are at the home of a daughter, Velma Peace, Rt. 3, Pleasant Hill Road, Greer.
The body will be placed in the Church at 1 p.m. Monday.
