Ramona Rachael Robinson, 35, of Oakland, CA, formerly of Crossett, died Wednesday, December 13, 2006, at Highland Hospital in Oakland. A native of Crossett and a resident of Oakland for the past 12 years, she was assistant manager at Home Depot and a member of Center of Hope Church in Oakland. She was a 1989 graduate of Crossett High School.
Survivors include two daughters, Makenzie and Sheila Robinson of Crossett; five brothers, Leon Robinson, Jr., Carl Robinson and Ricky Robinson and wife Prella, all of Crossett, Terry Robinson and wife Belinda of Resenda, CA, and Daryl Robinson of Sacramento, CA; and three sisters, Hazel Robinson of Los Angeles, CA, Angelia Tucker and husband Cedric of Crossett and Sheila Williams and husband Leroy of Oakland. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Eula Mae Robinson.
Funeral services were held Friday, December 22, at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Witherspoon officiating. Burial was at Westview Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home of Hamburg. Pallbearers were Ricky Robinson, Cedric Johnson, Leon Robinson III, Patrick Robinson, Renard Powell and Cedric Tucker.
