Melissa, 62, of Manchester, Michigan, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. She was born to Frank and Joan (Davidek) Collins.
She had lived in the Manchester area since 2001, moving from Ann Arbor. She had worked as a legal assistant for Brinks Gilson & Lione in Ann Arbor for 30 years. Melissa loved cats, cooking, and decorating for Christmas.
She is survived by her loving companion Larry F. Merkel of Manchester, her brother John Collins of PA, and two sisters, Pamela Cunningham of MD, and Marnee Miller of OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Mass was held Wednesday, March 15, 2017 from St. Mary Catholic Church, Chelsea. Private interment was at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
