Lionel "Butch" Mattice, age 67, of Toledo, Ohio, died Monday, October 16, 2006, at St Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Toledo on February 19, 1939.
Butch was employed with Daimler Chrysler for 30 years, retiring in 2000. After retiring he was
employed with Avis Car Rental. He was well known for being the original bass player with Johnny and the Hurricanes. Butch's hobbies and interests include model railroading, model airplanes, NASCAR and boating. He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Edith Green and brothers, Rusty and Robert Green. Butch is survived by his devoted children, son, Gregory Mattice and daughter, Tielynn Brudzinski. Graveside services were held on Saturday, October 21 at 10:00 a.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by
H. H. Birken-kamp.
