Died, December 10th, 1901, at the home of his son-in-law, Richard Babock, northeast of Lawson, Mr. Thomilson (sic) at the age of 91 years.

DEATH OF ISAAC TOMLINSON
The following account of the death of Isaac Tomlinson, father of Mrs. Isaac Baily (sic) of Greenfield appeared in the Ray county Review, of Lawson, Missouri:
"Obituary"
Died at the house of his daughter, Mrs. R. W. Babcock, five miles northeast of Lawson, Isaac Tomlinson. He was born in Pochahontas (sic) county, West Virginia, March 17, 1810, and died December 10, 1901, being ninety-one years, eight months and twenty-three days old. He was raised on a farm, having done a great deal of work in his young life, such as building flat boats, manufacturing salt and running timber down the James river.
He was married October 10, 1841 to Anna Frame, to this union six children were born, four of whom survive him. In 1855 he moved to Missouri and resided in this state until 1861, moving from here to Iowa, remaining their (sic) about ten years. He came back to Missouri, remaining here until 1874 when he again moved to Iowa, remaining there until the death of his wife March 25, 1897. Since that time he has made his home with his children in both Iowa and Missouri. During the year 1868 he united with the Christian church in Keokuk, Iowa. He fully retained his mental faculties and clearly remembered all the early happenings of his life until the time of his death. He expressed himself as being perfectly ready and willing to die.
Funeral services were held at Pleasant View church conducted by Rev. Davis, of Kansas City, Missouri, after with the remains were interred in the church cemetery.
