She was born May 19, 1961 at Huron, the daughter of Chuck and Jean Dixon. At the age of 6 months she moved with her parents to Faulkton and attended high school there. She also attended Nettleton College in Sioux Falls in 1980.
She was employed at James Valley Nursing Home and the past year and a half has been employed at the Redfield State School.
She is survived by her parents, of Faulkton; a brother Kent, Faulkton; a sister Kathy, Faulkton, her parental grandparents, John and Blanche Dixon, Miller; her maternal grandparents, Clare and Sybil Kennedy, Mobridge and her great-grandmother, Ada Kennedy, Onida.
Funeral services were held July 12 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Faulkton. Burial was in St. Thomas Cemetery.
