Esther E. Sauers, 87, of Piqua, died Monday, March 20, at Upper Valley Medical Center Troy ohio.
She is survived by one son, Edmund C. Sauers of Sidney Ohio, two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and William Chronerberry and Carole and James Henderson, both of Piqua Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Sauers on April-22-1974. They were married October-22-1932 in Saint Mary Church. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Edward and Hattie[Meyer]Sauers; two sisters; one brother; one grandson; and one great grandson.
Mrs. Sauers was born August-21-1912 in Sidney Ohio and was a member of St. Boniface Church in Sidney Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Thursday at St. Mary Church Piqua Ohio with the Rev. Father Francis Keferl as celebrant. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery Piqua Ohio.
Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Wednesday at Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home, Piqua Ohio where a prayer service will be held at 5 P.M.
Contributions may be made to the UVMC Dialysis Center 3130 N. Dixie Drive Troy Ohio.
