Annie L. Arp, age 85, a resident of Charleston, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 in a Chattanooga hospital. Mrs. Arp was the daughter of the late Dovie Louise Sullivan Yates and Lee Yates. Her husband, David Arp, her daughter, Helen Johnson, her infant daughter, Nancy Arp, her infant son, Donny Arp, her sisters, Audrey Zweyer, Maggie Mooneyham, Lorene Randall and Aline Wieczorek and her brothers, Thomas Yates, Joseph Yates and John Franklin Yates also preceded her in death. Mrs. Arp was a homemaker and she enjoyed watching the Lifetime Channel and working in her puzzle books.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy L. Arp of Charleston, her sons, Jerry Eugene Arp and his wife Diane of New Iberia, Louisiana, Gerald Arp of Charleston, Keith Arp of Birchwood, Dennis Arp of Cleveland and Russell Arp of Charleston, her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister, Emmie Lee Yates of Ohio, her brother, Harold Yates and his wife Sue of Ohio and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel with Pastor Josh Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
