Geraldine L. "Geri" Burns, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away on March 9, 2017. Born on October 23, 1930, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Elmer R. and Audra O. (Counterman) Moss and a member of Countryside Church of Christ, Grabill. She is survived by her children, Susan (Martin) Krause, Debra Duda, Richard (Melissa) Burns and Teri (Jamie) Boyden; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and five siblings. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard O. Burns, in 1988; and eight siblings.
Funeral service will be 11am Monday, March 13, at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne, with calling two hours prior to service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
