Ralph Calhoun Perry, Jr., 80, of 929 Bonner Road, Gaffney, S.C. went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at his residence.
Born in Gaffney, he was husband of Mary Osment Perry, father of Brian K. Perry and wife, Tiffany, of Gaffney.
He was the son of the late Ralph Perry and Leona Reynolds Perry Queen, and stepson of the late Hoyle Queen.
He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, retired from Timken, a member of the National Guards and member of Cherokee Creek Baptist Church where he was a former deacon. He was a Mason & Shriner, loved golf, farming & animals, and was a former member of Cherokee National Golf & Recreation Club.
He was first married to the late Wanda Childers Perry.
Also surviving are two other sons, Ricky Lane Perry and wife, Tammy, and Roy Dean Perry and wife, Billie Ann, all of Gaffney; two brothers, B. H. “Bill” Perry and wife, Mary, of Rock Hill, S.C. and James Andrew “Jim” Perry and wife, Melissa, of York, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Joan Perry of Gaffney; three grandchildren, Christopher Lane Perry, Troy Edward Perry and Kassidy Gaylyn Perry; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Edward Perry, a daughter, Rhonda Gay Perry, a brother, William Marion Perry and a sister, Betty Hopper.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Cherokee Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the Church with Dr. Keith Harrill officiating.
Interment will be in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
