Marie Elliott Watkins passed away peacefully on March 6, three days from her 92 birthday, at a local hospital in Cleveland, TN.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harmon L. Watkins; her parents and two sisters.
She is survived by three daughters; Glenda Engler and husband Maynard of Fairview, TN; Anne Horn and husband Anthony of Cleveland, TN; and Cathy Rusnak and husband Dean of Shalimar, FL. ; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was a lifelong member of the Church Of God (Cleveland, TN), and retiree of Duval County School System food service as a cafeteria manager.
Funeral services ill be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Cecil Giles officiating.
Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Jacksonville, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Church of God World Missions, Cleveland, TN, 37311, Russian Bible School, 7100072 Alexei Gorbachev/ETS/SPEC-Eurasia Bible School or a food bank of your choice.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Saturday before the service at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421
