Faye Jackson, age 80, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her daughter’s residence in Gainesville, Georgia. She was born on August, 8, 1936, in Olive Hill, Kentucky, to the late Frank Stone and Norma Garvin Stone.

Mrs. Jackson was a devoted, loving wife, mother and grandmother. A woman of great faith, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus. She was a member of McEver Road Church of God of Prophecy.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita G. Smith and David Smith of Gainesville, GA; grandchildren, P. J. Markin and fiancée, Amy Kinman of Lawrenceburg, KY, and Jared Markin and wife, Cynthia, of Gainesville, GA; great- grandchildren, Kylie Markin, Seth Markin and Taylor Markin. She is also survived by sisters, Opal Darlington, Delores Peters and husband, Jessie, Dorothy Peters and husband, Carlos, Charlotte Johnson, Barbara Wahrenberger, and Brenda Colvin; and a brother, Danny Stone and wife, Wanda; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William E Jackson; daughter, Theresa Jackson Hatfield; and brothers, Rev. Hertis Stone, Bobby Stone and Ronnie Stone.

Friends and family may call on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wayne Peters officiating. Burial will follow at Mansfield Memorial Park.
