Marilyn W. Morton, 60, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017.
She is survived by her husband, Burnis Morton, Jr.; father, Paul A. Wilson, Sr.; son, James Summey and his wife, Danielle and their children, Kanin & Kyler; brother, Paul A. Wilson, Jr.; children, Jacqueline Johns, Burnis Morton, III, and Jennifer Morton and their many children.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at American Legion Post 28. As a butterfly emerges into a beautiful thing, so it is Marilyn emerges in to God’s arms.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 PM on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens.
