We are all sad at the loss of Byron Jay, however, we can take comfort in knowing that he gave the gift of life to at least five people and his journey continues through them.
Survivors include his only child, Brooklyn Mae Wright (her mother, April Grant), his parents, Vicky L. Norwood (Myron) and Byron L. Wright (Sharon), and his maternal grandmother, Beverly Jackson. In addition, Byron Jay leaves to mourn his passing, his Aunt Bonnie Hall (Glendon), Uncle Edwin “Jimmy” Hitchens, Aunt Peggy Lares, Aunt Valorie Handy (Bolarius), a host of great-aunts, great- uncles, cousins, friends, his godson, Kay’von Allen and his special cousin, Tatyana Jackson who never left his side.
Services will be 1 pm on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call from noon to 1 pm for viewing and visitation. Burial will follow at Indian Mission Cemetery.
