Sandra Kay Sutton, of Vienna, was born on December 20, 1943, a daughter of Homer Lee and Zola May (Charles) Foreman, and departed this life on Sunday, March 8, 2015, in the Maries Manor Care Center, Vienna. Mrs. Sutton had been in failing health for some time and had attained the age of 71 years, 2 months, and 18 days. Mrs. Sutton was united in marriage on May 8, 1968, at Hannibal, to Gerald Lee Sutton who preceded her in death on May 18, 1994. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one stillborn child; her parents; one brother, C.W. “Dub” Foreman; and one sister, Olivia Snyder.

Mrs. Sutton had accepted Jesus Christ as her Personal Savior at an early age and had followed her Lord in baptism. She was a member of the Farber Baptist Church, Farber, where she was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union, a Sunday school teacher, sang in the church choir, and was a strong supporter of all the activities and ministries of the church. During her working life, Mrs. Sutton had been employed by the Tri County Care Center, Vandalia; the Crown Linen Laundry, Mexico; WOW Pizza, Margie’s Café and Maries Manor Care Center all at Vienna, retiring in 2012.
