Sarah was my great grandmother and my mother told me that Lucinda Perkey was Sarah's daughter. I find that strange since either Sarah had Lucinda out of wedlock or Sarah was married into the Perkey name. I don't know which, but Lucinda was born in 1854, died in 1921. Then the Markham children should be William Rufus (1863-1939) , George Washington (1864-1939), James Leonard (1866-1935), Andrew Jackson (1867-1940), Margaret Julia "Maggie" (1868-1893), Mary Elizabeth (1870-), Samuel David (1871-1950), and Julia A.B. (1877-1955). Sarah married Holland (David or James) Markham July 10, 1862 Lawrence County (later Sharp Co) Arkansas.
