Irene V. Strong (nee Kurucz), 91, loving wife, mother and grandmother of Bay Village, Ohio passed away March 6, 2017 at O'Neill Healthcare in Bay Village following a short illness.
She was born in Riddlesburg, PA on August 15, 1925. She lived in Amherst, Ohio before moving to Bay Village.
Irene was a graduate of the Lorain Business College and an active member of St. Vincent de Paul Church of Elyria Township. She was self-employed for many years as owner of Irene's Nut Rolls. She loved crocheting and needlework.
Irene is survived by her husband of 36 years, David M. Strong. They were married October 17, 1981.
