GAYDOS – John S., 68, of Johnstown died February 21, 2017, at his residence. Born August 31, 1948, in Johnstown, the son of Paul A. and Gertrude (Petro) Gaydos. Preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Stella (Patrick) Gaydos; sister, Gertrude A., and brother, William C. John was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church where he served as an usher. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad St., where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Fr. Matthew Misurda officiating. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery.
