Susan Lynette Underwood, age 56, passed away March 7, 2017. She was a native and lifelong resident of Rutherford County and an employee at Middle Tennessee Christian School.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Preston and Sue Victory Underwood; and, brother-in-law, Charles Duggin. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Leigh Barlow; brother, Bill (Melinda) Underwood; sister, Teresa Underwood Duggin; and niece, Kerrie (Chris) Boisseau and Krista Duggin; and nephew, David (Robin) Underwood; great-nieces, Valorie Underwood and Claire Underwood.
Visitation with the family will be 4:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home.
A chapel service will be 1:00 PM, Friday, March 10, 2017 at Jennings and Ayers with David Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
