Shreveport, LA- Funeral services celebrating the life of Martha Ann Gross, 80, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 in the chapel of Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Officiating will be Bro. Wayne Fussell of Midway Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Gross was born on September 4, 1936 in Benton, LA and passed away on March 6, 2017 in Shreveport, LA. Ann was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the Lord and was a member of Midway Church of Christ. If anyone was ever looking for Mrs. Gross on Sunday morning, Sunday evening or Wednesday evening she could always be found at church. Ann was a homemaker and was known as the neighborhood mother when her children were growing up.
Mrs. Gross was preceded in death by her husband, Don Gross; her parents and one brother, Wilbur Weems.
Left to cherish beautiful memories of Ann are her children, Bert Gross and Cathy Gross Olivier; sister, Mildred Richmond; one brother, Floyd Weems; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
